| |
The Application Engineer will participate in the design, implementation, and
maintenance of the new eDiscovery platform and other assigned multi-tiered
and major business applications in use within the Firm. They will be
responsible for application functional integration, updating, packaging
requirements, configuration, support (troubleshooting and level 3 support),
design and technical documentation for these assigned applications. They
will act as the primary Technical Reference User for the new eDiscovery
platform and other designated applications, as required, to ensure that the
Firm is fully leveraging tools within its applications portfolio.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Experience with eDiscovery systems (Recommend Axcelerate, Autonomy
Introspect, LexisNexis Concordance, Documatrix, Ringtail, etc.).
- Knowledge of fundamental legal information system requirements.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft OS-based desktop, server, and
database systems. Good knowledge of Microsoft networking concepts and common
infrastructure.
- Good knowledge of server hardware, server storage and other
infrastructure, client/server applications, and server utilities.
- Working knowledge of SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 and strong SQL skills.
- Exposure to development languages/environments including ASP, Javascript,
VBScript XML, as well as .NET technologies such as ASP.NET, VB.NET and
Visual Studio.NET |
