5 - 7 years of Hyperion applications Essbase and/or Enterprise development experience is required. Database development is essential.

Experience with Calculation scripts (write/maintain/enhance), Load Rules, Report Scripts, Application Manager, Tuning and optimization, Configuration settings, Dense/Sparse Outline configuration, Esscmd, MaxL and MDX scripting, Batch scripting, Automation, Backup/Recovery, System monitoring, Security.
*
Experience importing data from multiple systems (SQL based, Flat files)
*
Working knowledge of Hyperion reporting tools such as Essbase Add-In and Web Analysis and Retrieve.
*
Experience using Essbase Aggregate Storage Option
*
Basic SQL knowledge (SQL 2000, 2005, 2008)
*
Performance tuning skills on databases
*
Excellent communication skills
*
Bachelor*s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or related area, or equivalent through a combination.
The Hyperion Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining and tuning the Hyperion systems which include the Essbase and Enterprise environments resulting in a stable, optimized financial planning, budgeting and reporting solution
