Monitor and control the mainframe storage environment for the enterprise.
- Problem management and change management for the mainframe storage
environment.
- Evaluate and select new hardware.
- Coordinate hardware installation and upgrades.
- Monitor and control DASD mirroring (PPRC, GDPS, HUR).
- Understand and use Service Management processes.
- Create and maintain hardware documentation and procedures.
- Create and maintain storage management batch processes.
- Create and maintain storage management Knowledge Items (KI).
- Provide subject matter expertise to projects as needed |
