Project Management expertise (minimum 5 years);
Looking for experienced PM. Data Storage Manager (DSM) is a well lifecycle management tool designed to track and manage activity in production operations.
It is an in-house developed tool built 10+ years ago, enhanced frequently over the years, and is currently written in VB6; the intent is to investigate if there are any vendor packages which could deliver the required functionality to replace DSM.
Looking for a Project Manager who has PM experience in business case development, stakeholder management, requirements analysis, vendor evaluation / management, and end-to-end application development life cycle. If a vendor application cannot provide the required functionality, a rewrite of DSM in standard technology will be an alternative investigated.
It is expected this will be the first phase of a multi-phase project.
