Our client, located, in Mount Laure, NJ is seeking a mid level J2EE
Developer for a contract role.The candidate will be tasked with performing a
variety of programming assignments requiring knowledge of established
programming procedures and data processing requirements. This includes
innovating new features in the technology stack, maintaining and improving
existing applications, supporting daily operations, installing and deploying
systems, and implementing new process efficiencies. The candidate will be
expected to assist in the development of ideas from concept, through
prototype, to implementation. He or she will work individually or with team
members to meet time critical projects. The candidate may be required to
assist personnel ;of other departments as a development resource.
Qualifications:
* 5+ years experience in Java (with a focus on J2EE).
* Familiarity with Web Services (SOAP, JSON, XML, WSDL).
* Demonstrated expertise in UNIX/Linux.
* Familiarity with Bash/Perl scripting.
* Advanced SQL experience on ONE or more of the following: ETL, SQL Server,
Oracle and Teradata.
* Strong creativity, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field |
