Experience in Financial industries
** Installed and configured all versions of Cognos versions in multi server environment.
** Well versed with developing of OLAP cubes for the database applications.
** Experience with Cognos Report Studio and Analysis Studio in development of financial, analytical and operational reports on operational and data-mart sources in Cognos 8 and Cognos RepotNet.
** Experienced in design, development and testing of Cognos Powerplay cube models. Performed end to end design including derivation of calculations and ideal precision/scale determination.
** Installed and Configured Cognos 8.4 BI, FrameWork Manager and Cognos 8 Transformer. Configured Cognos 8 Content Store Database and Configured IIS web server.
** Highly Familiar with Access Manager implementations - users, groups, classes and security.
** Experience in Cognos Administration: Security, Content Administration and Deployment, Load balancing, Migration Planning.
** Implemented object-level and package level security in Framework Manager Models for restricting access to metadata across Cognos 8 environment.
** Created Cognos 8 Transformer Cube Model. Developed Measures, dimensions, levels, categories, special Categories and alternate drill down paths in Transformer Model. Implemented Cube Security and worked on Cube Groups. Enhanced performance of the Power Cubes.
** Experienced in Publishing the Reports onto the Web .
