Currently we have multiple projects available to be staffed. Assignments to projects will be based upon a match between knowledge/experience level and project EAI requirements. A functional EAI consultant be able to advise Philips Business and project managers on EAI matters within the context of the EAI policies and guidelines. Deviations from the policies need to be escalated to the XI competence manager.
A EAI Functional Consultant should be able to translate functional requirements into EAI functional and technical specifications. This with a high level of Quality.
An EAI functional consultant must be able to quote/plan his/her own work within the scope of a project. Planning issues should be addressed with the project manager in a professional and timely manner. He/she works closely together with the EAI process owners and the EAI architect
Working reusable standard interfaces according to the architectural guidelines
A functional EAI consultant should have an in depth knowledge of one or more of the SAP areas, like SD, MM, WMS, F&A. For one or more of these areas he, she is responsible for writing the functional/technical/ test specifications. The added value of an EAI Functional consultant in an project is the EAI skill set. In our area that means at least intermediate knowledge of SAP XI/PI. Fair to good knowledge on the connectivity's HTTPS, SOAP, SFTP and SAP Connectivity's is required. AS2 knowledge (preferably the Seeburger solutions) is required. He/she has knowledge of SAP PI. Basic knowledge of firewall and proxies is needed. Gentran knowledge is an advantage
