Description : |
| |
To support the Quikview program (which is the development of a new Universal User Interface for client Care and Retail applications)
* To lead design efforts with developers, other architects, system analysts, etc*
* Will break down business and technology problems (not code level discussions)
* Will help in taking ideas, flush them out, gather/facilitate design teams, and make recommendations on how to move forward.
* Will help to define architectural standards and best practices within those disciplines.
* Will interact with senior management and others to effect solutions in support of technical and business requirements
* Will prepare and maintain documents that include architecture diagrams, data models, and navigation maps
* Will analyze and prepare recommendations to address existing and potential trouble areas in systems and procedures as well as design and recommendation on new solutions both in relation to hardware and software design.
* Absolutely needs to be able to lay out a technical solution in a way that the client could easily understand.
* Strong experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
* Worked in or around Agile projects
* Understanding of architectural concepts, n-tier architectures, and databases
* Well versed in large enterprise environments (ie millions of transactions)
* Telecom experience (+); if not telecom, large enterprise required
* Development background
* Need strong leadership - will run meetings, guide the architectural process
* Needs to be very "quick" minded
