Description : |
| |
Provides functional and technical leadership in the activities of complex application design, development, implementation, issue resolution, and support.
Development of requirements and specifications
Identification and planning of appropriate solution(s)
Development and review of project documentation
May serve as a team lead and/or project manager
Fundamental understanding of technical concepts
Leads process analysis, including feasibility studies, functional requirements analysis and review, detail design reviews, process workflows, and clinical assessments.
Provides consultation services to the end user community to observe current work flows, analyze business processes and suggest / implement system solutions.
Leads comprehensive testing activities including test plans, strategies and scripts.
Leads development of strategies, policies, procedures and standards.
Coordinates and facilitates work with other IS resources, including those in other departments, to insure proper system operation and performance.
Bridges system functional and technical requirements to develop feasible solutions based on project constraints.
Provides problem-solving expertise for all aspects of application implementation.
Leads and coordinates system enhancements and issue resolution.
Communicates problems / issues that may arise in determining solution feasibility and alternatives to the project manager or manager.
In addition to analyst tasks, serves as a team lead and/or project manager for Conflict of Interest module
Performs functional and technical assessments and evaluates proposed IT technologies and solutions to determine feasibility and compliance with industry and MDACC standards.
Coordination and adherence to functional and technical development, configuration, or process standards mandated by MDACC and provides justification for any deviation.
