analysis, and process documentation among various storage and SAN switch platforms.
* Provides expertise on
a) Primary focus: Cisco/Brocade SAN switches, EMC Clariion, Centerra, Celerra, DMX/Symmetrix, SRDF, Timefinder and
vendor storage management tools such as EMC Control Center, Navisphere
b) Secondary: volume management, clustering, local & remote replications, project management, and process workflow.
c) Other: OS knowledge *Solaris, Windows, Linux; RAC clusters, VMware and Solaris virtualization, Hitatchi USPv, IBM
XIV, Hitachi HiCommand.
* Clear understanding of storage concepts, RAID layout, Storage and SAN technologies
* Provide support for complex design and implementation requests
* Monitoring the performance and health of the storage environment. Identify performance issues and work to
resolution.
* Respond to incident tickets communicated via pager, phone call, or ticketing tool and work to resolution. On call |
