| |
The successful candidate will enjoy being a data architect, designing a database from the ground up and be able to execute under tight deadlines.
* 5+ years in designing, data modeling and implementation of a high-volume relational database environment (preferably Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g and 11i)
* 5+ years supporting marketing analytics teams, preferably in a business to business (B2B) environment
* Experience in the design and implementation of data warehousing and data mart activities in a heterogeneous database environment.
* Experience in the installation, maintenance and performance tuning of large size databases
* Experience in the analysis of hardware, software and training requirements for business analysts to use the relational database environment
* Solid skills in Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures and functions
* Strong skills in SQL and Shell scripting
* Familiarity with Dun & Bradstreet firmographics to customer data, and using Hoovers.com to resolve unknown customer hierarchies a big plus
* Experience with SQL Server and SAS is highly desirable
