| |
Helpdesk Support/Systems Technician This position is responsible for monitoring several computer systems for Document Image processing, storage, and retrieval for a large international shipping company. The hired individual will be assigned a 12 hour shift, alternating 3 and 4 days a week in order to provide 24/7 support for the system as part of a four-member team. Scheduling for this position will be 06:00 18:00, every other Thursday & Friday Sunday (scheduling may be negotiable, within the required 12 hour alternating 3/4 day week). During the hired individuals shift, they will be responsible for continuously reviewing the status of the system to ensure the system is available & work is flowing through the system as expected. In the event of an issue with the system, the technician will be responsible to resolve the issue and/or escalate as appropriate. Additional duties include burning backup CDs/DVDs; fulfilling customer requests from phone calls, emails, and web forms; shipping packages; performing regular system maintenance; writing a daily End-of-Shift Report; and all other duties as assigned.
