Description : |
| |
Provide day-to-day support for 24x7 Oracle databases and services. Available for after-hour on-call support
* Implement, test and maintain backup and recovery procedures using RMAN
* Install, maintain and refresh Oracle databases for development, test and production environments
* Perform database patching, upgrade and migration as necessary
* Responsible for maintaining database configurations in compliance with security policy and standard; establish and manage user access, design and implement security architecture.
* Monitor security breaches, error logs, space, user activity and resource utilization of production environment. Ensure production systems meet performance and availability requirements
* Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the database architecture and the application functionality for multiple, complex applications
* Responsible for database design and implementation for various projects
* Provide expert assistance in SQL statement tuning, indexing, and partitioning to improve application performance
* Work with other teams to promote changes to production and other environments
