Description : |
| |
•Responsible for overall design of the enterprise data and/or information architecture and balances the need for access against security and performance requirements.
•Performs quality assurance on the designs and development done by the various technical teams
•Participates in the functional requirements gathering and functional design processes
•Translates business requirements into a re-usable information architecture, which may include an enterprise data model, associated metamodel, common business vocabulary, ontologies and taxonomies to be used to achieve consistency of information assets across the application portfolio
•Facilitates consistent data acquisition and access analysis and design, Database Management Systems optimization, archiving and recovery strategy, load strategy design and implementation, security and change management
