| |
Candidates in this position work as part of a project team to develop and deliver commercial software products for internal and external use.
Candidate is a web application developer experienced in building middle tier back-end interfaces to rich Internet applications.
Candidate will possess a professional working knowledge of the following technologies: .Net, AJAX, JSON, Web Services, Restful APIs and backend database technologies.
Candidate has knowledge across a spectrum of programming languages and techniques and applies both existing and new technologies in developing solutions.
Must be an energetic 'self-starter' who thrives in a continually changing environment with the ability to take ownership and be accountable for deliverables.
Required Experience/Skills:
Professional experience in the Microsoft web-based technology stack: C#, .Net framework, ASP.NET MVC 5.0, ASP.NET Web API with OData or experience with REST APIs, Ajax, XML, JSON ServiceStack, and WCF Services.
Solid understanding of SQL Server, LinqSQL, Entity Framework, ADO.NET and database access technologies. Some Oracle experience is a plus.
Highly versed in Restful API based solutions using WebAPI 2.0 and MVC 5.0.
Professional experience in browser based front-end development using Object-Oriented JavaScript and MVVM Patterns using various libraries such as jQuery, Knockout, AngularJS, or Backbone is a significant plus.
Separation of concerns using methodologies such as repository pattern, MVC and Object-Oriented programming techniques.
Professional knowledge of concepts of IOC such as Dependency Injection used for test driven mock-based development. Experience in IOC packages such as Unity and Ninject.
