The objective of the system is to give integrated information about Dialysis patients, Medicines, lab tests conducted on patients using HIPPA standards. System gives an idea to Researchers for analysis and to take some important decisions.
Description and Role:
· Used Informatica 6.2 as an ETL tool to extract data from source systems to target system.
· Created Workflows and run Workflows using Workflow manager. Monitored the data loads using Workflow monitor.
· Used Informatica Workflow Manager to create and run the sessions for loading the data. Wrapped the sessions with pre-session and post-session shell scripts. Partitioned the Sessions for better performance.
· Used Informatica Designer to create several mappings using source as flat files to move data to a Data Warehouse.
· Created and tested complex mappings using Normalizer, Joiner, Rank, Filter and Router transformations. Involved in testing of Informatica mappings.
· Created mappings with parameters and variables.
· Involved in fixing invalid Mappings, testing of Stored Procedures and Functions, Unit and Integration Testing of Informatica Sessions, Workflows and the Target Data.
· Performed Informatica Administrative functions like creating folders, granting permissions, creating and back up repositories.
· Documentation of mappings.
· Worked in Production support after release to assist various users..
