Developed batches for people software for nightly run Modified People soft supplied mappings and developed mappings to reduce error and gain Efficiencies. Documented a promotion strategy for promoting from Test to QA and Production Envirornments Migrated objects from Development to QA and Production Environments Informatica 6.2 Power Mart, Sql Server were used in this effort.

ETL Developer Springs Industries, Fort Mill, SC Aug 2004 – Dec 2004
Worked on developing interfaces between Company Home Grown Software and JD Edwards one world ERP Package to meet the reporting requirements of Springs Industries and to facilitate smooth integration of JD Edwards Software in Springs environment. Informatica Power Mart 6.2, Oracle 9i were used in this effort.

ETL Developer NGIT, Raleigh, NC March 2003 – June 2004
Build a robust datawarehouse for United States Postal Service. The USPS will use the datawarehouse to define and plan their business strategy, evaluate the effectiveness of Sales Campaigns and profitability of their products and services. Design and developed ETL Strategy for populating the EDW. Developed strategies, recommended tools, and techniques to alleviate performance problems, developed Unix scripts, Informatica Mappings, session architecture, and batch architectures in order to extract data from various postal service applications and create files which were used to populate Enterprise Data Warehouse. Developed procedures and Checklists for Oncall Production Support. Tools Used: Informatica 5.1 – 6.2, Unix Shell Scripting, Tera Data.

Developed a process for Data quality standardization after extensive client discussion, problem solving and development of procedures for the data quality initiative. Designed, documented the Data Quality Process. Also developed an estimating tool to estimate cost and resources for a data quality investigation. Developed Informatica Mappings for Data Warehouse for the Information Application Architecture for the Mutual of Omaha. Worked for an International Financial Services Company on a project for building their retail mailing systems data warehouse. This project is designed to efficiently generate and mail financial documents to participants, sponsors associated with there financial plans. Was responsible for developing mappings to build a data warehouse, extracting data from ODS and Creating a Retail Mailing Data Warehouse. Also evaluated the feasibility of Informatica’s Power Connect tool to extract information from files residing on Mainframe.
