This application links authors to their articles, link articles to their sources and link author to their affiliations. “ALIAS” is an enhancement to the existing project. The output of ALIAS project is persisting articles movement from one profile to other. Size of the team was three.
I was responsible for
• Developing a suitable design for the project and written an implementation document by understanding the specifications given by the client.
• Writing Java code to validate the data.
• Developing test cases for different scenario

This project APTIE is related to publishing articles in web which is successfully running by our client Elsevier. This application links authors to their articles, link articles to their sources and link author to their affiliations. Application uses Oracle as the back end, while the entire code is developed in java. The output of APTIE forms the backbone of search on Scopus. As the data dealt with is in millions of records, this module needed performance improvement to have good throughput. Size of the team was four.
I was responsible for
• Writing java code to validate the input files which are going to run on production.
• Creating and running set of batches on production
• Developing test cases for different scenario
• Data cleanup and finding the results of the run in the database
• Writing shell scripts to automate the process
Main Achievements
1. Have got good name from CEO of Parity Computing.
2. Identified buggy data and also identified holes on the existing software
3. Found the appropriate solution for the identified issues
4. Given logical ideas to improve the performance
5. Have done research work to find the authors of articles.

ACM our client, provides the computing field's premier Digital Library and serves its members and the computing profession with leading-edge publications, conferences, and career resources. This application uses data from ACM and links authors to their articles, link articles to their sources and link author to their affiliations. This application uses Oracle as the back end, while the entire code is developed in java. Size of the team was two.
I was responsible for
• Enhancing the existing software with new features in Java
• Keep the client updated about the status and bug fixes on timely basis
• Optimizing the performance wherever needed
• Running batches whenever we get and send the output with good quality and on time.
• Enhanced the software for better performance using java.
Main Achievements
1. Have got good name from Client
2. Identified bugs on my own and fixed pro-actively before deadline
3. Have given training to Juniors to run the batches.
4. Given logical ideas to improve the performance

'Article Validation' is an internal and real time project for my MCA academic course which is done in Parity Computing India Pvt Ltd, Bangalore.
I was responsible for
• Designing the project using use cases and UML diagrams
• Developing code using struts2 technology.
• Testing the code by applying unit test and integration test.
Main Achievements
Secured 97% in MCA Academic project and also appointed in Parity Computing based on my performance as a software developer.
