Katha Dance Theatre is honored to present over 100 of its school students in the 27th annual Spring Concert "Sadhana" at The O'Shaughnessy Auditorium this May. The program will feature a diverse range of traditional Kathak repertoires, including Vandana, Bhajan, Nritta in various taals, Thumri and dances from Holi and Raas Festivals. This concert portrays a journey of the storytellers, the Kathakaars, who transmitted knowledge of epics and mythology by combining music, dance, acting and narration and later gracefully entered the arena of the royal courts.
