Kalasagar, an institution founded by Kalamandalam Krishnankutty Poduval, is observing *Gurusmaranadinam* (Preserving and Promoting Guru Shishya Parampara) on 14 October with the support of Kalakshetra Foundation, at Rukmini Arangam, Kalakshetra, Tiruvanmiyur, Chennai when the living legendary Gurus viz. *Prof. S R Janakiraman,* a Carnatic vocalist and a musicologist and *Prof. C K Balagopalan,* eminent artist from Kalakshetra will be felicitated by Kalasagar besides paying homage to visionary gurus *Kalamandalam Krishnankutty Poduval, Rukmini Devi Arundale Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam and M S Viswanathan. *Kalasagar will also be presenting their new production *DASAMUKHARAVANAN *a* *Kathakali play.
