Prabal Gupta presents CLEOPATRA - THE LAST PHARAOH OF EGYPT in Kathakali Stree Vesham (an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Anthony and Cleopatra) as part of celebrating 25 years of his dancing career. ‘Cleopatra’ is a spectacular love story, depicting Cleopatra's manipulation of Julius Caesar and Marc Antony in her ill-fated attempt to save the Egyptian empire, the misunderstandings between her and Marc Anthony resulting to a tragic end is vividly portrayed in Kathakali streevesham by Prabal Gupta.
