India International Centre presents JUGALBANDI - a two day dance festival. The theme is SAMVAD - from Indian Mythology and features Bharatanatyam by Sathyanarayana Raju & Arupa Lahiry and Kuchipudi by Ajay Kumar & T Reddi Lakshmi. The theme and content has been designed by Usha RK.
-Nov 19: Krishna Satyabhama Vivaadam - Conversations between Krishna and Satyabhama. Krishna is portrayed by Sathyanarayana Raju and Satyabhama in streevesham by Ajay Kumar.
-Nov 20: Parvathi Lakshmi Vaadam - While Parvathi makes fun of Vishnu and his avatars, Lakshmi gives her fitting replies on Shiva’s ugly attributes; both keep the verbal fight going. Arupa will perform in the Bharatanatyam style and Lakshmi in the Kuchipudi style.
