Bala Devi Chandrashekar, senior disciple of Padma Subrahmanyam, will perform Bharata Nrithyam on the inaugural day of the Festival of India presented by Wheaton Arts on September 12, 2008. The evening will also feature a Yakshagana folk theatre performance.
At: Wheaton Arts Center, 1501 Glasstown Road, Millville, NJ 08332, from 7- 9.30pm
Sept 13 will feature an all day festival from 10.30am to 7.30pm - Folk and classical music and dances, visual arts and crafts and more.
