12 Sept: Geeta Chandran participates in the ELSA AGM at her alma mater Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi University.
- 16 Sept: Geeta Chandran presents an illustrated performance at Lady Irwin College for SPIC-MACAY.
- 19 Sept: In conjunction with the Ajmer Lit-Fest, Geeta Chandran and her Natya Vriksha Dance Company will present a performance entitled THE POETRY OF DANCE.
- 26 Sept: THE MAGIC OF BHARATANATYAM: Geeta Chandran will conduct an interactive session for children in the age group 9 – 11 years, Habitat World, Lodi Road, New Delhi. Demystifying the classical, Geeta will lead them through various facets of classical dance: Basic posture, hasta-mudras (hand gestures), abhinaya (expression), tala (rhythm), and natya (the art of telling stories). The session will be participatory and the children will be encouraged to engage with simple activities and also ask questions.
