New Jersey teen publishes photography Book to promote environmental awareness
A New Jersey teenager’s passion for photography and compassion for the environment comes together in “Save My World”, a book of photography being released in December exhibiting the work of high school senior Abhishék Seth. All proceeds will go to environmental charities.
“Save My World” captures young Seth’s environment as he sees it: beautiful nature in danger of pending despair. His pictures document the beauty of symmetry, lighting and detail that occurs in ordinary objects and everyday moments. With each picture, Seth lures the reader into admiration of his youthful, yet profound images and with wit relates them to every day environmental issues that we must address.
The book showcases a selection of pictures the 17-year-old snapped during the past four years, when he developed his style of photography and a growing respect among his peers in the photography industry. Each picture features an environmental fact or tip related to the subject of his photographs. Seth’s aim is to empower the reader with knowledge to join him in the crusade to save his world, and yours.
Seth’s book is the next step in a photography career sparked as a high school student. At a very young age Seth has won numerous awards including top places in the Annual Shutterbug Photo Contest, The Star-Ledger Photo Contest, and The International Library of Photography Photo Contest. He is a freelance writer and photographer for The Home News Tribune Teen scene.
Seth is also a member of his schools’ environmental club, Students against Violating the Environment (SAVE), and a graduate of the Hugh N. Boyd Journalism Diversity Workshop at Monmouth University.
Seth is available for interviews, speaking engagements and presentations.
