Accused in Aarushi murder case Dr Rajesh Talwar has been let off on a surety of Rs 10 lakh.
He was granted bail after CBI found no evidence against him.
Earlier, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had said that it has not been able to secure any evidence against Dr Rajesh Talwar in the Aarushi murder case.
The CBI also said that it has conveyed it to the Ghaziabad court and has asked it to pass appropriate orders on Talwar's bail application.
Referring to the arrest of Dr Talwar by the Noida police, the CBI said that the Noida police had no evidence against Talwar when it arrested him in May.
''The Noida police charge that Rajesh Talwar was angry with his daughter as he had allegedly seen her in a ''compromising'' position was based on a statement made by one of the accused
Krishna,'' said CBI joint director Arun Kumar.
In a remarkable statement, the CBI said that no deception had been found on the part of Talwar and his wife Nupur in the polygraph tests that were conducted.
However, the CBI added that there were deceptions in the polygraph and lie detector tests conducted on Talwar's compounder cum receptionist Krishna and Durrani's domestic help Rajkumar.
On the basis of the revelations in the narco analysis tests conducted on Krishna and Rajkumar, the CBI narrated the possible occurrence of incident.
As per the test results, on the day of the murder, Krishna, Rajkumar and Vijay Mandal had gathered in Hemraj's room.
They consumed alcohol in Hemraj's room and discussed about Aarushi, following which, they headed towards Aarushi's room.
''They tried to abuse Aarushi physically. She protested and was hit by a sharp object. Following which, the accused headed to the terrace where Hemraj was killed,'' said Arun Kumar.
''After Hemraj was killed, the accused came back to Aarushi room where she was slit and killed,'' he added.
