| India's Human Resource Development Ministry has published a report that has ranked the country's government and private institutions ahead of the next academic year which starts in the summer.
The report seeks to "empower students and parents" while creating healthy competition among educational institutes, the ministry said.
Here are the top five universities in each of the report's categories:
