India were 528 for three at tea on the second day of the second Test against Bangladesh at Mirpur on Saturday.
Skipper Rahul Dravid, Dinesh Karthik and Sachin Tendulkar cracked well-deserved centuries as India continued to torment the Bangladesh bowlers.
Resuming at 326 for no loss, the overnight batsmen - Dravid and Tendulkar kept up the momentum adding 116 runs in the morning session.
Dravid scored his 24th Test century and the duo put on 127-run partnership for the third wicket before Mohammad Rafique struck to give Bangladesh their first wicket of the match.
The skipper was out trying to loft a tossed up delivery to the off side but ended up getting a leading edge and spooning it to Ashraful at point for 129.
Karthik, who had retired hurt on 82 on the first day, joined Tendulkar after the skipper departure. The youngster reached his maiden international hundred of the last ball before lunch.
The two partnered to put up a 85-run stand for the fourth wicket before Karthik fell to Mashrafe Mortaza playing a pull shot for 129.
Tendulkar was then joined by Sourav Ganguly but the latter missed out on the run feast as he perished to Mohammad Rafique playing a cut shot which landed in the wicket-keeper's gloves for 15 runs.
The talented youngster completed the feat facing 180 balls and his knock was embellished with 13 boundaries.
India have the perfect launchpad to post a mammoth total on board and press for a series victory
