| MP ministers not filing returns |
| Ajey Vishnoi Health Minister said, ''I am filing my tax returns where I am supposed to in Jabalpur.''

| The Income Tax department in Madhya Pradesh has served notices to 15 ministers some of whom have not been filing returns at all.
Some of the others have been filing returns in towns other than the one they should have.
Laxmikant Sharma Culture Minister MP has not filed his tax returns since 2001, an offence under the Income Tax Act that incurs a heavy penalty.
Five other ministers have not been filing their returns either. Nine others are filing tax returns in other towns when they should be doing so in Bhopal.
This list includes Kusum Mehdele Women and Child Development Minister, Gopal Bhargav Agriculture and Co-operatives Minister and Ramakant Tewary Animal Husbandry Minister.
Y K Gaiha Commissioner Income Tax, Bhopal said, ''We have received information first of all some of them are not filing returns and some of them are filing returns elsewhere to avoid direct enquiries we checked up with our database and some of them are not filing returns.''
Other in the list includes the Raghavji Tourism Minister, Ajay Vishnoi Health Minister, Jayant Mallaiya Commerce Minister and Narottam Mishra Urban Development Minister.
Some are unaware of filing returns in the wrong paces. Raghavji Tourism Minister said, ''Vidisha is the proper jurisdiction for me and I have been filing my returns there for the last twenty five years and I am continuing to do so.''
Ajey Vishnoi Health Minister said, ''I am filing my tax returns where I am supposed to in Jabalpur.''
They could be assuming these privileges on the virtue of being ministers.
