| JD(S) on Monday issued whip against its MLAs not to support BJP chief minister in Karnataka widening the rift between the BJP and JD(S).
''We have decided to vote against the new BJP government in Karnataka,'' said Kumaraswamy.
On his part, JD(S) chief H D Dewe Gowda wanted BJP to sign MoU, which the saffron party had refused.
''If JD(S) votes against Karnataka CM Yeddyurappa, he will resign,'' said BJP chief Rajnath Singh.
Meanwhile, Karnataka BJP is likely to meet the Governor to resolve the crisis.
