| Commuters boycott local trains |
| They have requested commuters not to board trains between the Virar to Mira Road stations.

| In Mumbai, a commuters association, Prabhas adhikar andolan samiti has asked commuters on the Western line to boycott travel on the locals today for 12 hours from 6 am to 6 pm.
They have requested commuters not to board trains between the Virar to Mira Road stations.
Their demand is for more locals on the Borivali-Virar line. In fact, one Virar local every five minutes is one of the primary demands among others.
During peak hours, the trains carry 2-3 times their capacity and this demand has been made by the organisation on Human Rights Day because it feels that commuters demands have been constantly sidelined by Western Railways and hence they are protesting.
