| A fight between two students over a mobile phone turned into a mob fury in Hajipur, Bihar.
One of the students stabbed the other and was later dragged to the streets by a mob and beaten mercilessly.
He had been taken to police custody, but the angry crowd dragged him out and thrashed him in full public view.
The police just watch helplessly.
Meanwhile, there is another case of vigilante justice in Bihar, where an alleged thief was dragged from police custody by a crowd and beaten to death.
