| Democrat presidential hopeful, Senator Barack Obama has won the Democratic Primary in Mississippi.
Obama won roughly 90 per cent of the black vote but only about one-third of the white vote.
This is in concurrence with a pattern that saw him win earlier primaries in South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia and Louisiana.
But with just 33 delegates on offer the Mississippi results haven't changed the shape of the race. Obama and Clinton are still locked in a marathon over the Democrat presidential nomination.
Next on the Primary calendar is Pennsylvania, where the contest will be held on April 22.
