Kalasagar is pleased to announce the names of the artists selected through nomination received from art lovers for the KALASAGAR PURASKARAM 2012, constituted in memory of legendary Kathakali maestro Kalamandalam Krishnankutty Poduval which will be presented on the occasion of the celebration of his 88th birth anniversary. Kalasagar, Kavalappara with the support of Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India will be organizing ORU PIRANALINTE ORMAKAYI. The program includes Mohiniyattam by Pooja Vijayan, Kathakali – DASAMUKHARAVANAN by Madavoor Vasudevan Nair and BALIVADHAM by Sadanam Krishnan Kutty and Kalamandalam Ramachandranunnithan. Eminent personalities from the field of art and culture will grace the function.
