CLEVELAND MUSEUM OF ART presents Indian classical dance expert, Rajika Puri in a Pre-concert talk, prior to a performance by Nrityagram Dance Ensemble. Using images from the museum’s collection of Indian art, the lecture delves into the relationships between Indian dance, music, sculpture, mythology, poetry, and painting, all illustrated with slides, storytelling, and excerpts from dances.
