About the Musician : Kaushik Ram aged 17 hails from an Orthodox family, well associated with music. His great grandmother Late Smt. Movva Sundaramma garu is a classical singer of yester years. His father Sri Prasad Kommaraju is a singer/writer of good standing and reputation. Kaushik Ram is introduced into Carnatic Music at the age of 4 and has been trained since then by great teachers/musicians Smt. Sripada Uma Sharma, Smt. Mythilee Srinivasan and Smt. Manjula Ramesh. Currently he is under the tutelage of Mrs. Varuni Ravinder in Cary, NC, A graded vocal artist of All India Radio.
