This program is being jointly organized by Shambhavi Dance Theatre and the Sangeetha Nritya Academy Bangalore. The chief resource person will be Guru Vyjayanthi Kashi. Workshop Focus on Ten days intense approach to one of the most beautiful classical dance forms. The program is planned to encourage talent and aiming at the highest possible standards of performing and teaching in Kuchipudi.
Highlights of the workshop : 1. Intensive lessons for 3 to 4 hours a day 2. Includes dance examination syllabus 3.The workshop concludes with a performance 4. Performance and guest lectures by traditional gurus
Dancer Vyjayanthi Kashi’s career spans over an impressive spectrum of performance, choreography, teaching and research, her work has been featured in several national and international festivals. Her workshops round the globe have been well attended and appreciated. She serves on the Arts and Cultural Committee of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural and India.
