Trek to Valley of Flowers and Hemkund.
Starting Date from Mumbai August 11 2007 to August 19, 2007.
Trek Route (Govind Ghat – Ghangaria – Bhyundar Valley – Ghangaria – Hemkund (optional) – Ghangaria – Govindghat (total 4 days of trek). Trekking schedule:
Day 1: Govindghat – Ghangari (13 km time 4 to 5 hours) level moderate
Day 2: Ghangaria – Bhyundar Valley – Ghangaria (8 km Time 7 to 8 hours) Easy
Day 3: Ghangari – Hemkund – Ghangari (6 km each way; time 4 hours each way)
Day 4: Ghangaria – Govindghat (13 km, time 4 – 5 hrs)
Accomodate: GMVNs and Hotels at Ghangari and Joshimath
Classification – Moderate

Govind Ghat – 1828 m Ghangari – 3050 m Bhyundar Valley – 3858 m Hemkund – 4329 m
This is Nature Knights first trek to the valley of flowers and hence classified as exploration trek.
