Come join a group of bikers for a fun filled biking event on the Silver Comet Trail. This trail is a popular place among fitness and outdoor enthusiasts. Hundreds of individuals and families routinely walk, run, bike, and skate on this trail, while enjoying the beauty of wooded surroundings.
We plan to have a group of 30 bikers for a 2-3 hour ride and fun event. The ride will have a full range of distance options starting from as short as just a mile (for families and young children) to more than 50 miles for experienced riders.
The minimum eligibility is being able to ride and control a bike. This is a great opportunity for beginners to warm-up to the idea of recreational biking, and also for the experience riders looking for a great endurance ride. The terrain is comfortable to complete the ride within a couple of hours.
Distance Options:
Continuous distances from under 1 mile to 50 miles round-trip, with a few stops for water and snacks.
Duration:
From under 1 hour to 4 hours (max)
Directions:
Directions to the trail and other details, including a route map will be provided to registered participants
Event fee:
$20 for single riders; $2 for each additional rider in the family.
Expenses will cover bike and accessory rentals, snacks and other refreshments. Remaining proceeds will go to "The Atlanta Foundation".
