India’s first-ever interactive portal for Citizen Journalists is organizing its first live event in Mumbai – Citizen Journalists’ (CJ) Meet on November 24, 2007, bringing you an opportunity to interact with peers and like-minded people in your city who believe in freedom of speech and expression and the right to information.
The half-day seminar is an effort empower the people by evolving a clear and effective process for citizen journalism to flourish as shackle-free communication, encouraging the democratic process.
Not a Citizen Journalist? Don’t worry, anyone can attend! The seminar on November 24, 2007 is aimed at raising awareness among citizens towards the relevance of Citizen Journalism. You could be a student, a housewife, a professional, an aspiring or working journalist, a media school administrator – as long as you are responsible citizen who believes that small voices have a right to be heard, this CJ Meet is for you!
