RON (the war) - A contemporary and modern play by Sudipto Bhawmik
"Ron" is a contemporary play written by Sudipto Bhawmik.The story unfolds through a series of events that happen when a first generation immigrant couple, whose American citizen son has joined the military and been sent to the Iraq war, invites some friends over for a social evening. The audience will accompany the characters in the play who go through various conflicts and wait for their son's phone call from the battlefield.
Don't miss this gripping tale of the wars that are not just and fair always, but people have to fight them anyway! Watch ENAD's "Ron" on December 8th. The play has already been staged in the East Coast and in Kolkata and has received rave reviews from theater experts like Bibhas Chakrabarti, Amol Palekar, to name a few theatre stalwarts of India.
