Details of competitions
Handwork competition: duration: 1 hour between 3.30 to 4.30 pm. Deadline for submission of entries; Jan 6, 2008. Please bring your own materials. Participants must be at the auditorium by 3 PM.sharp . The winner (s) will be recognized and awarded during the program on stage. Interested participants, please send details to cultural committee chair Vanaja Parthasarathy at npartha@aol.com.
Tamil Quiz competition: Open to all children and questions and answers will be in Tamil. Last date for submission of names is Jan 10. 2008. Email names and phone number to quiz master Prakash at pmswamy@ gmail.com.
Thiurvalar Tirumathi New Yorker Ideal couple competition : Open to all Tamil couples in the tri-state area. Deadline: Jan 8, 2008. Contact NYTS Vice President Brahashitha Gupta and at suribraha@msn.com.
Competition may be be called off if there are not enough participants. Decision of NYTS is final in this regard.
