Jalandhar (PTI): Punjab will soon launch the on-line lottery system to increase its revenue.
Giving this information here on Sunday state Finance Secretary Baljeet Singh Sandhu said, "It has been noticed that on-line lottery is a very good source to generate revenue for development works and the process for launching it has already been initiated."
About the disinvestment of loss making corporations and boards in the state, Sandhu said that the state government has identified them and even the process of disinvestment of some of them has started.
He, however, made it clear that the Public Corporations that stood chances of being brought out of the red would not be disinvested.
