Frolicking monkeys, elegant doves, crocodiles and dancing puppets fill the stage with breathtaking choreography fun and craziness as the Angahara Dance Ensemble brings to life two stories on Friendship and Trust from India ’s 2500 year old Panchatantra fables. This internationally acclaimed dance-theater production choreographed by Lester Horton Award winning dancer/choreographer Ramaa Bharadvaj uses unusual movement vocabulary based on the Bharatanatyam dance technique, specially designed costumes and masks, delightful original music and hilarious storytelling in English to take a peek into the wise and witty world of animals.
