Choreography by Founder/Artistic Director: Jaan R. Freeman
An esthetic merger of east and west drawing from the Bharatanatyam and modern dance movement vocabulary, the program features the world premiere of Freeman’s “In My Mother’s Basement”, “Drums, Ghatam and Tabla”, a duet celebrating the music of the late Ananda Shankar and the revival of “Folk Songs of Sri Lanka.
