Tamil Manram in partnership with India Community Center, Milpitas will be ushering in the new year by celebrating January 2009 as Tamil Month. ICC will be decorated with Tamil theme throughout the month of January. Please stop by ICC and check out the decorations.
Tamil Manram will be celebrating Pongal in a grand scale at ICC on the 14th. A video highlighting Tamil history, language, culture, and heritage will be screened. Several entertainment events are also being planned including sernthisai, dance, therukkoothu, kavi arangam etc. Please watch for further announcements. A gourmet pongal lunch will also be served.
