Parijat Desai Dance Company will perform excerpts of SONGS TO LIVE FOR, a new work in development, as part of "Passage to India" in the Fridays @ Noon Series. The event takes place at the venerable 92nd Street Y, a long-time presenter of modern dance. Performing along with Parijat are dancers Kiley Durst and Cori Marquis. The short program includes contemporary and classical dance by Parijat Desai Dance Company, Shobana Ram, Malini Srinivasan, Janaki Patrick, and Preeti Vasudevan/Thresh Dance.
