Shen Yun Performing Arts is the premier classical Chinese dance and
music company in the world today. A performance by Shen Yun is a
presentation of traditional Chinese culture as it once was: a study in
grace, wisdom, and the virtues distilled from the five millennia of
Chinese civilization. The dances are spellbinding, the choreography is
impeccable and the colorful costumes are an audience favorite. At the
core of Shen Yun’s performances is classical Chinese dance with China's
numerous ethnic and folk dance styles rounding out each performance.
Shen Yun’s unique orchestra, with its all-original compositions,
aesthetically blends ancient Chinese instruments with Western orchestral
instruments producing a fresh, unexpected sound. And the animated
backdrops with projected hi-tech images transport audiences to another
