Deshopriyo Kolkata Cultural Centre presents GAUHAR JAAN, a tribute to the songstress, dancer, entertainer par excellence. The first artiste to be recorded and remains immortal in annals of history of music and dance. The production will dwell on her contribution to Kathak with her distinctive style through which she carved a niche. The production has been conceived, conceptualised and choreographed by Sushmita Banerjee. She will be performing along with her students at Satyajit Ray Auditorium (I.C.C.R), 6.30pm.
