The SPRING 2009 DANCE FESTIVAL - A spectacular display of music and dances from around the world performed by more than 80 dancers. Featuring:
Barynya from Russia; Calpulli Mexican Dance Campany; Center for Mohiniattam led by Bharati Shivaji and Vijayalakshmi and accompanied by the Center’s most accomplished dancers, will present Mohiniattam, showcasing some of their unique repertoire; Sound of Korea, Drums of Ecstasy and the mesmerizing Fan Dance are among the glorious and engaging repertoire of Sounds of Korea; Pender-Keady Academy - Irish Dance has captured the imagination of people across the world. Huge crowds flock to see dance shows rich in color, action and drama. These spectacular displays of color, movement and bravura have deep roots in the history of folk dancing in Ireland. 40 highly skilled dancers from Pender-Keady Academy can’t wait to empress you on May 2nd.
